Dupont Tyzor NPZ
CAS No.: 23519-77-9
Light yellowish transparent liquid
As catalyst in PP and PE polymerization
Zironate coupling agent FD-NPZ
Product: FD-NPZ
Chemical Name: Tetra-n-propyl zirconate
CAS No.: 23519-77-9
Application:
Corresponding other producers name Dupont Tyzor NPZ
Product appearance Light yellowish transparent liquid
It reacts with chelating agents and forms corresponding Zirconate chelate that has lower reactivity to meet certain reactivity requirements. FD-NPZ is a Lewis acid and can be a good catalyst for most reactions such as esterification, transesterification, condensation reactions etc. It can also be used as Ziegler Natta catalyst in PP and PE polymerization. Due to its high reactivity, FD-NPZ can react with lower reactivity functional group of binder resin, such as OH and COOH on substrate and coating, At high temperature (>350oC) FD-NPZ decomposes to form Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and forms thin layer on different substrates (glass, mineral, pigment, metal) and surface hardness and surface activity are impeoved. The chemical properties of FD-NPZ is very similar to that of tetra-n-propyl titanate, however, zirconate does not cause yellowing problem.
Packing: Packed with 5L, 20L, 210L plastic/steel drum or 1000L IBC container, also can be packed according to customers requirement.
Storage: Seal and store it in a cool, dry and ventilated place, keep moisture-proof and waterproof, far away from kindling material and heat source.
