PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY PROPERTIES: white crystalline or powder, inodorous and tasteless, it is weak acid ad has moisture absorption character. Relative density is 3.08 for hexa square crystal and 2.665 for cubic crystal ( 170C) . The solubility is small in water and dissolvable in hydrochloric acid. The solubility has a little increase with temperature increase. Alcohol undissolvable. Decomposed as potassium fluoride , silicic acid and hydrogen fluoride when it burned.
USAGE: It can be used as antiseptic of wood, assistant reagent in magnesium and aluminium smelted insecticide in agriculture, intermediate in organic synthesization, chemical reagent in analytical chemistry. Also used in antisepsis material , porcelain enamel, high quality welding rod production and mica synthesization.
