Application and configuration method of TAPSO sodium salt
Category : Other Chemicals
CAS NO : 105140-25-8 EC NO : MF : C7H16NNaO7S MW : 281.26 Specification : White Powder Packing : 500g/bottle Product description : TAPSO sodium salt, also known as 3- [N-tris (hydroxymethyl) methylamino] -2-hydroxypropyl sulfonate sodium, abbreviated as TAPSO Na with CAS number 105140-25-8, is a commonly used weak alkaline buffer in biochemical experiments. Its effective pH range is between 7.0-8.2. Under normal conditions, the pure white powder needs to be prepared as a solution for use. It has good solubility and can be directly prepared with distilled water. Application of TAPSO Sodium Salt TAPSO sodium salt, like TAPSO, belongs to the Good's buffer series and includes the same advantages as Good's buffer. Due to its non permeability to cell membranes and non toxicity to cells, it has certain advantages as a buffer in cell culture media. This is because cell culture operations require prolonged exposure to CO2, and when the pH value of the environment changes, it can affect the cells and lead to experimental failure. When TAPSO Na is added as a buffer to the culture medium, it can resist drastic changes in pH value and maintain it within the required range, thereby ensuring orderly cell culture experiments. So this is also its common field. Uses : Biological buffer Synonyms : TAPSO, sodium salt;N-[Tris(hydroxymethyl)methyl]-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, sodium salt;TAPSO Na; Molecular Structure :
