CAS NO : 1132-61-2 EC NO : 214-478-5 MF : C7H15NO4S MW : 209.2633 Specification : White Powder Packing : 500g/bottle Product description : MOPS, also known as 3-morpholine propionic acid, with CAS number 1132-61-2, is a type of biological buffer mainly used for in vitro diagnosis, cell culture medium, protein purification, and electrophoresis analysis. Due to its lack of chemical reaction with most metal ions, it is also used as an auxiliary buffer in the preparation of metal ion solvents. MOPS, also known as 3-morpholine propionic acid, with CAS number 1132-61-2, is a type of biological buffer mainly used for in vitro diagnosis, cell culture medium, protein purification, and electrophoresis analysis. Due to its lack of chemical reaction with most metal ions, it is also used as an auxiliary buffer in the preparation of metal ion solvents. The commonly used method for preparing 10 × MOPS buffer in electrophoresis buffer is as follows: (1) Dissolve 41.8 g of MOPS in approximately 700mL of DEPC treated water; (2) Adjust its pH value to 7.0 using 2 N NaOH; (3) Add 20mL of 1M NaOAC and 20mL of 0.5M EDTA (pH 8.0) treated with DEPC to the solvent; (4) Dilute to 1 L and use 0.45 μ The filter membrane of m filters out impurities, and the final extracted solvent is stored at room temperature in a dark place. Because the chemical composition of MOPS is stable, the Pka value is stable, and it has no toxicity or osmotic effect on organisms. It does not undergo chemical reactions with various chemical reagents and has no chelating ability with metal cations. As a zwitterionic buffer, it has many advantages and is widely used in various fields such as biological science and medical diagnosis. Hubei Xindesheng produces a series of biological buffering agents, such as Tris, MOPS, CAPS, Bicine, and other products. The R&D technology is leading and the quality is excellent, with a complete R&D production, quality control, and sales service system. The production capacity is sufficient and can be customized and packaged according to customer requirements. If you have a need for biological buffering agents, please feel free to call Xindesheng!
