N - (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazin-N '- (2-hydroxypropylsulfonic acid) sodium salt HEPPSO-Na
Category : Others
CAS NO : 89648-37-3 EC NO : MF : C9H22N2NaO6S MW : 309.33555 Specification : White Powder Packing : 500g/bottle Product description : The Chinese name of HEPPSO sodium salt is N - (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazin-N '- (2-hydroxypropylsulfonic acid) sodium salt. Due to its long chemical name, it is difficult to remember, so it is commonly referred to as HEPPSO sodium salt. Its CAS number is 89648-37-3, with a pH range of 7.1-8.5, and a pka value of 7.8 at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. It can be used as an effective buffer for adjusting PH value in biochemical experiments, and can also be used as an excellent separator in IEF protein separation experiments. However, the HEPPSO sodium salt had a white powder like appearance before configuration, so it needs to be prepared with water and sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide when used. Preparation method of HEPPSO sodium salt: (1) According to the experimental requirements, dissolve a quantitative amount of HEPPSO sodium salt powder in deionized water; (2) Titrate with sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide to the required pH value; (3) Fill with deionized water to final volume; (4) After high-pressure sterilization, store below 4 degrees Celsius. Uses : Biological buffer Synonyms : HEPPSO, sodium salt;N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)piperazine-N-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, sodium salt; Molecular Structure :
