Product description : CHAPS, CAS number 75621-03-3, has a small micelle molecular weight and a critical micelle concentration of 6mm, which can be completely removed by dialysis in the experiment. CHAPS, as a buffer, can exert a good buffering effect in the pH range of 2 to 12 and can maintain it for a long time. Therefore, it is commonly used in pharmaceutical intermediates, laboratory chemicals, and research reagents. As a hydrophobic substance, CHAPS has very stable chemical properties, and the environmental temperature has little effect on it, and it hardly reacts with metals. CHAPS does not contain persistent, bioaccumulative, or toxic components, and is commonly used as a non-toxic stabilizer to regulate the normal growth and metabolism of microorganisms. CHAPS buffer can more sensitively damage the cell nucleus, dissolve and encapsulate the purified inner membrane proteins and receptors, and affect protein interactions without altering the activity and function of proteins. CHAPS can be used to prepare vascular scaffold materials, remove cellular components, and obtain autologous acellular matrix. CHAPS lysate can avoid protein degradation and improve protein extraction efficiency, so it is commonly used to prepare trimeric thiocyanate samples for mammalian cell and tissue analysis. CHAPS can also inhibit apo-IDO1, promote protein iodization, divide and recover viral particles, and quickly freeze primary glioblastoma tissue samples. Sometimes CHAPS is used in combination with other substances to achieve a better buffering effect, but the price is more expensive than a single buffer. When analyzing cysteine asparaginase, CHAPS+HEPES combination buffer is commonly used; When detecting lipoprotein-related phospholipase A2, CHAPS and sodium n-nonanesulfonate were prepared as a solution to inhibit esterase like activity in serum; Incubate with benzonase nuclease to degrade remaining DNA contamination, etc. As a professional source manufacturer of CHAPS, Desheng researchers continuously improve production processes, optimize production processes, and ensure the stable properties of CHAPS white crystal powder produced.
